Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in CT imaging to a dynamic healthcare environment dedicated to exceptional patient care. This contract opportunity offers experienced CT Technologists the chance to work with advanced imaging equipment and collaborate with a skilled radiology team.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation Accurately position patients, ensuring comfort and safety throughout procedures Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals Follow all safety protocols related to radiation exposure and infection control Maintain thorough documentation of procedures and patient histories Assist with patient screening and obtain necessary consent forms Keep equipment clean, calibrated, and in optimal working condition Remain up to date on advancements in CT technology and imaging practices
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with CT certification Current ARRT (CT) registration required Valid imaging technologist license in applicable state (if required by location) Proven experience in CT imaging techniques, anatomy, and scan protocols Ability to perform both routine and emergency CT exams efficiently and compassionately Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach Skilled at working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team This role provides a collaborative atmosphere where your technical skills and professionalism make a direct impact on patient outcomes.
