Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role utilizing your advanced imaging expertise as a CT Technologist. This contract opportunity values professionals skilled in computed tomography (CT) who are motivated to deliver exceptional diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Qualifications and Desired Skills:
Certified in CT imaging with a valid ARRT (CT) credential Prior experience as a CT Technologist, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting Proficient in operating CT scanners and related imaging equipment Strong knowledge of anatomy, positioning, and patient care fundamentals Excellent critical thinking and communication skills Commitment to patient safety and maintaining a clean work environment
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely imaging Prepare and position patients for procedures, explaining the process and answering questions to ensure comfort Evaluate images for quality, thoroughly documenting findings and maintaining detailed records Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care Follow established protocols for radiation safety, infection control, and equipment maintenance Troubleshoot basic issues with imaging equipment and coordinate repairs as needed This contract role is ideal for professionals who thrive in dynamic settings and are passionate about patient-centered care.
