Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Step into a key role providing advanced CT imaging support for a dynamic department committed to patient safety and high clinical standards. This contract assignment features night shifts—Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, working 6:00pm to 6:30am—requiring a professional able to respond swiftly to department needs with flexibility and reliability.
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Active ARRT certifications in Radiography (ARRT-R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) Current BLS certification (or equivalent from the American Red Cross) Minimum of 1 year radiology experience required; CT-specific experience preferred but not mandatory Excellent verbal and written communication abilities; comfortable interacting with physicians, patients, and team members Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment Proven capability to function independently while contributing to a team
Key Responsibilities:
Safely conduct CT procedures according to established protocols, ensuring correct clinician orders and patient identifiers Assess patient history, gather appropriate examination data, and address contraindications Maintain rigorous infection control through equipment cleaning and proper use of personal protective protocols Adjust imaging techniques to minimize radiation dose without compromising diagnostic quality Provide clear explanations to patients and families, utilizing strong customer service values Participate in both departmental training and ongoing professional education Perform quality control checks and ensure timely image transmission to PACS Support emergency response activities and maintain readiness of clinical equipment Accurately document all procedures and adhere to hospital and departmental policies This position offers the opportunity to make a difference alongside dedicated professionals while expanding your skills in a vital clinical setting.
