Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for professionals skilled in Nuclear Medicine and Imaging as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. This contract assignment spans 13 weeks and is ideal for candidates eager to contribute their expertise in a dynamic clinical setting.
Schedule:
Days, 5 shifts per week (8 hours per shift)
Qualifications:
Current certification in ARRT N or ARRT R is required Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Demonstrated experience with nuclear medicine technology practices Strong proficiency with imaging equipment and safety standards Effective communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
Role Responsibilities:
Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to produce high quality diagnostic images as prescribed Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established protocols Evaluate imaging results and collaborate with radiologists and medical teams to ensure accuracy and patient safety Maintain patient records and documentation following regulatory and organizational guidelines Monitor patient well-being during procedures, providing clear instructions and support throughout Adhere to all safety and infection control procedures regarding radioactive materials
