Job Description
Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract A highly skilled imaging professional is sought for a dynamic contract role at a busy, 123-bed facility with Level III trauma designation and Primary Stroke Center status. This night-shift position requires strong proficiency in both CT and X-ray, with responsibilities interchanging between the two modalities. You'll work independently during the 2100-0700 shift, providing crucial imaging services for inpatient and ED patient populations—including stroke, trauma, angiography, abdominal, and vascular studies.
Schedule/Hours:
Night shift: 2100-0700 (10-hour shifts) Available to work 7 days a week; schedule based on departmental needs 6-week schedule provided, 4 weeks in advance Weekend and on-call duties as required; 30-minute response time Holiday coverage: 1 per contractQualifications/Required Experience:
Minimum 3 years in an acute care setting; first-time travelers welcome with required experience BLS and ARRT certifications Current WI license Strong independent work capability; demonstrated critical thinkingCT:
IV skills (preferred), proficient with power injection, trauma, stroke protocols, GE/Toshiba experience,CTA X-ray:
General X-ray, Fuji or Cannon experience, fluoroscopy, OR, full body imaging Comfort floating between CT and X-ray Familiarity with EPIC (required) andMcKesson PACS Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform 45+ scans/studies per shift, prioritizing high-acuity ED and inpatient cases Execute advanced CT and X-ray studies, including fluoroscopy and vascular imaging Provide safe, accurate contrast and non-contrast imaging Collaborate with imaging supervisors and directors as required Maintain high standards of infection control, including PPE protocols Accurately document studies using the EPIC systemPerks:
