Position Highlights Position Summary:
Responsible for performing and scoring all computed tomography procedures for Planet Heart patients in a timely manner. As a member of the care team, the CT Technologist is responsible for working collaboratively with other members to assure the safe and accurate delivery of patient care, maintaining patient confidentiality at all times. In addition, the CT Technologist must be able and willing to cross-train into other appropriate modalities. Assumes, under the direction of the Laboratory, responsibility for patient specimen testing, quality control, quality improvement, and equipment maintenance.
Work Schedule:
Ten hour shifts, primarily Monday through Friday. Occasional weekend coverage as Planet Heart program needs demand.
Education/Experience:
Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology program. At least 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certifications in Radiography and Computed Tomography. BLS certification required.
