In this Critical Care Respiratory Therapist role, you'll manage a varied caseload across adult inpatient units and the Emergency Department, with opportunities to care for pediatric patients during ED coverage. Schedule/Hours:
Three 12-hour shifts per weekDay:
0630-1900Night:
1830-0700 Every third weekend Every other holiday No mandatory call; occasional voluntary off-shift call (response time: 1 hour)Qualifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Current State of WI RT license (process takes 6-8 weeks if not already obtained) 2+ years of RT experience Trauma Level II or III experience requiredACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS
certifications Critical care competency and comfort with ABGs, CBGs, and supporting EKG overnight Must note any previous employment at the facilityRole Responsibilities:
Deliver respiratory care to adults (all units) and pediatric patients (in ED) Assist with intubation and place laryngeal airway when necessary Operate advanced ventilators and respiratory equipment (Servo U/I, PB840, Hamilton T1, V-60, Vapotherm, etc.) Participate in orientation and uphold clock-in/out protocolsBenefits & Perks:
