Leads production team and assists in assembly operations Collaborates effectively within a team to achieve shared goals and takes ownership of maintaining project momentum Is willing to be flexible to achieve goals, may be asked coordinate work beyond own area Proposes improvements to processes Acts as a lead, coordinating the work of others but is not a supervisor Works autonomously within established procedures and practice Department SMT (117) Employment Type Full Time Location Chester, CT Workplace type Onsite Reporting To Venelin Botev Duties and Responsibilities Under minimal supervision, performs substantially varied and complex tasks Applies advanced skills to perform functions of the position within assigned area Adapts new procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet the more complex requirements of the position Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues, and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels Orients, trains, assigns, and checks the work of other employees Monitors team performance and motivates the team to perform Must be able to distinguish colors Knowledge of Production Procedures Ability to Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports. Understands and adheres to the company quality standards. Assumes supervisor/manager's duties in their absence. Must be able to stand for entire shift. Education and Experience Physical demands and abilities Able to lift 35 pounds. Regularly perform repetitive tasks. Able to stand for entire shift.
