Job Description

Position Summary The Production Supervisor oversees daily manufacturing and multi-axis CNC machining operations for aerospace engine components manufacturer. This role leads the shop floor team to hit production schedules and monthly sales goals while maintaining compliance with aerospace quality management systems, tight tolerances, and AS9100 regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Manage daily shop floor activities across all manufacturing departments of a Tier 1 OEM supplier. Enforce quality standards to ensure zero-defect production of complex engine geometries. Maintain a zero-incident culture by enforcing OSHA guidelines and proper handling of exotic aerospace alloys. Direct, train, and mentor machinists. Monitor and improve overall department/employee productivity, efficiency and utilization. Partner with Quality Control to ensure parts required to meet weekly/sales goals are scheduled and prioritized accordingly. Record and review daily production metrics, scrap rates, and material traceability within the ERP system.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
8 to 10 years in aerospace manufacturing, with at least 5 years of supervisory experience over CNC machining departments.
Technical Knowledge:
Basic blueprint reading, GD&T dimensioning and tolerancing. Hands on machining experience a plus
Certifications:
Strong working knowledge of
AS13100, ISO
9001, and NADCAP special processes.
Software Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Experience with Visual 11 ERP system a plus, data tracking tools
