Part-time Requirements:

• Minimum of 21 years of age
• Ability to pass PA State Criminal Check (ACT 34)
• Ability to pass PA Child Abuse Clearance (ACT 33)
• Ability to pass FBI Clearance (ACT 114)
• Clean National Sex Offender Registry Report
• Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Pass a physical and drug screening
• High School Diploma or equivalent required Duties include but are not limited to:
• Provide instruction in transitional and vocational skills to support student independence, employability, and daily living skills.
• Develop and implement hands-on culinary and food service learning activities aligned with student ability levels.
• Teach kitchen safety, food handling, sanitation, and basic food preparation techniques.
• Support students in preparing for ServSafe Certification or other entry-level food service certifications.
• Supervise students during kitchen-based instruction and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
• Model and reinforce workplace readiness skills including teamwork, communication, punctuality, problem-solving, and professionalism.
• Collaborate with instructional staff, supervisors, and related service providers to support student success and individualized goals.
• Maintain instructional materials, kitchen equipment, and food inventory in an organized and safe manner.
• Assist students with community-based vocational experiences and career exploration opportunities when applicable.

Pay:

$37,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
