Restorative practices Behavior intervention frameworks Proven success working with diverse student populations and varying academic and behavioral needs Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Knowledge of school, district, and state policies and procedures Responsibilities Assist the principal in protecting student health and welfare Support teaching staff with classroom management Assist in developing behavior and discipline policies Manage student discipline, restorative practices, and consequences Coordinate and monitor school-wide positive behavior expectations Develop, implement, and monitor student behavior contracts Attend Bullying and Harassment Investigator Training Serve as the school's Bullying/Harassment Investigator Promote strong school-parent relationships Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor Contribute to a positive school culture and professional learning community Serve as liaison with parents and community agencies Oversee student organizations and clubs Other responsibilities as determined by administration Candidates must possess or be eligible for Florida certification.
