Requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent or G.E.D. with at least three months of experience cleaning. Employer conducts Level 2 Background Check / Drug Screening Drivers' License Knowledge, skills and abilities: Knowledge of cleaning equipment to complete the above tasks. Due to the nature of the job, speak, read, and write English and to understand written and oral directives. Work with the public in a fast-paced airport environment.

Physical and mental requirements:

Learn, understand, and remember tasks Interprets letters, numbers, characters, or symbols and identify colors. Use small hand tools which require the use of hands, wrist, and fingers. Climb ladders and stairs. Perform hard manual labor. Regularly lift to 50 pounds - large pieces of equipment including bending and squatting. Stand for prolonged periods of time. Ability to work various shifts.

Essential functions:

Operate and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools, buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, high pressure washers, high speed buffers and vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, etc. Cleans office areas, stairways, jetways, commercial aircraft and elevators. Wash walls and mirrors and use ladders when required in work assignments. Secure building when facilities are not in use checking for unlocked doors and windows, report any unauthorized occupants Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies. Perform cleaning and related activities such as removing debris from sidewalks and stairs in areas within buildings using hand-operated tools or small power equipment. Move furniture, equipment, supplies and tools on an incidental basis. Wash accessible interior and exterior windows and blinds. Assist with inventory control Safely operate all vehicles and other job-related equipment. 16(Fri/Sat or Sun/Mon) No medical /health insurance associated with this position.
