(SKILLBRIDGE ONLY) Location U.S. Locations Working Hours 8:15am - 5:00pm Job Type Full Time NTE 6 months Who May Apply Open to ALL U.S. Citizens Salary GS 7 $42,649.00 - $55,486.00 JOB SUMMARY The DOD SkillBridge programs provide our retiring and transitioning Service members the opportunity to participate in industry training programs while transitioning out of their Military careers. The DOD covers Military pay and benefits during a Service members time in a SkillBridge program, providing an invaluable experience for the Service member and the Industry partner. This posting is for active service members approved or in the approval process to participate in the DOD's SkillBridge Program who already possess an active Top-Secret Clearance. SkillBridge candidates are applying to a six-month internship functioning as an Equipment Specialist - Aviation.KEY REQUIREMENTS U.S.
citizen Able to obtain a Top Secret-SCI clearance Some travel may be required Approved or in the approval process to participate in the DOD's Skillbridge Program (Able to obtain) a valid driver's license Selectee will be required to complete form FD-887, Request for Access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)MAJOR DUTIES
Plans and completes assignments while adhering to established instructions, policies, practices and procedures. Establishes and maintains working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to exchange information, provide recommendations, and provide analytical support. Communicates with others to provide training while preparing and presenting reports and briefings. Utilizes computer related hardware and software to collect, examine, preserve, and duplicate digital evidence while adhering to all legal authorities, policies, and guidelines. Provide onsite technical guidance as a Subject Matter Expert by troubleshooting errors and problems in order to retrieve data/digital evidence, ensuring proper policies and procedures are followed, preventing data loss and equipment damage.QUALIFICATIONS AND EVALUATIONS

The FBI is in the Executive Branch of the federal government. It is one of the components of the Department of Justice (DOJ). The FBI is the principle investigative arm of the DOJ. All FBI positions are in the excepted service. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and must consent to a comprehensive background investigation, urinalysis, and polygraph examination. Suitability for federal employment will be determined based on the results of the background investigation. Positions including those with fitness-for-duty requirements or that involve international travel, may require proof of specific vaccinations.
