Do You Want to Make a Difference ? Look No Further! Segue Inc. is looking for a part-time Custodian/Grounds Keeper/Building Services staff member! We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to handle custodial duties and small maintenance tasks independently within our facility. Who We Are Segue Inc. is a non-profit outpatient mental health facility that has been a leader in providing quality mental health services to the citizens of Jackson & Hillsdale counties in Michigan for over 40 years. What Does the Custodian/Grounds Keeper/Building Services staff Do? Monitors building needs and performs various cleaning tasks including floors, carpets, walls, windows, furniture, and bathrooms. Conduct minor repairs on equipment, fixtures, and facilities. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. Yard maintenance, including mowing and weed whipping during the warmer months, and snow removal tasks such as snow blowing, shoveling, and salting during the winter months. Performs additional duties as directed by Administration. What is Required to Become a Custodian/Grounds Keeper/Building Services staff Must have a High School Diploma/G.E.D. Valid Michigan Driver's License. A minimum of 2 years of janitorial and building maintenance experience is preferred. Knowledge of commercial or school building mechanicals. Comfortable using computer systems and email. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs and operating equipment. Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
