Customer Service Account Specialist

Summary We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team at Datum-A-Industries, Inc., (located West of the Cities in Maple Plain, MN). This role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining strong relationships as our customers' first point of contact. The ideal candidate will be responsible for addressing customer inquiries with efficiency and accuracy. Knowledge of fluid power/manufacturing would be beneficial in order to provide support and enhance the customers' experience with our products. Responsibilities Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone or email. Provide accurate information about products and services to customers. Process purchase orders, quotes in ERP system ensuring proper lead times, customer information and instructions. Set up jobs and order material or tooling for specific job. Assist customers with order processing and resolve any issues that may arise. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions. Monitor order progress and follow up on shipments to meet deadlines. Follow up on quotes and potential sales. Requirements Knowledge of fluid power manufacturing. Proven experience in customer service and purchasing. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic data entry skills and familiarity with JobBoss office software (preferred). Knowledge of solidworks/design would be a bonus!
