Customer Service Clerk/Cashier

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and sales, with a focus on providing exceptional service to all customers.

Responsibilities:

• Operate cash register and handle financial transactions accurately
• Assist customers in locating products and making purchasing decisions
• Provide product knowledge and information to customers
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Upsell products and services to customers
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
• Process returns and exchanges efficiently

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred
• Proficient in using cash registers and handling cash transactions
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
• Knowledge of retail math for calculating discounts, percentages, and sales totals
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus for assisting diverse customer base
• Experience using computers to create documents a other printed material a must
