Summary:
The Customer Service Representative position is assigned a full range of duties. This position requires managing customer relationships, processing orders accurately and efficiently, providing customer and outside sales support, and will collaborate with internal departments and team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Your daily tasks will include entering and tracking orders, handling inquiries via phone and email, coordinating with departments including shipping, factory and supply chain teams, and maintaining client satisfaction. This role requires strong communication, computer, and data entry skills, along with excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities. This role may include other tasks as necessary to support operations. The ideal candidate will have a professional corporate image, well written and professional emails, and/or phone calls, and will have that innate cheerful and friendly quality and proven problem-solving abilities are all characteristics that we are seeking and looking for in a long-term career-oriented candidate. Acknowledge receipt of purchase orders and provide order confirmations within 24 hours. Check stock availability and communicate lead times on all backorders. Accurately enter customer orders into SAP, track order progress from entry through shipment, and process related documentation such as credits and returns. Review and validate order details to ensure adherence to company and customer specifications. Conduct detailed order history to identify and validate special modifications and pricing, ensuring accuracy. Serve as a main point of contact for customers as well as outside sales. Answering customer and sales inquiries. Resolving issues related to orders, products, and shipments. Set up new customer accounts which require communication with outside sales and internal departments. Build and maintain professional relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction with products and services. Work with our supply chain and accounts receivable to ensure seamless order fulfillment and resolve operational issues. Accurately update and maintain customer and account information in various systems and databases. Provide sales reports for the sales team, customers and management team when needed. Investigate and resolve issues such as damaged or mis-shipped items, order discrepancies, customer complaints and schedule shipments back to our facility from the customer's location. Assigned additional duties as necessary.Requirements & Skills:
Minimum of 1- 2 years of relevant work experience (required).
Physical and Mental Requirements:
Must be able to lift, pull or push up to 40lbs to safely and correctly carry products to customers. Ability to work and sustain attention with distractions and/or interruptions. Ability to interact appropriately with a variety of individuals including customers/clients. Ability to deal with people under adverse circumstances.Benefits:
