We are looking for a Customer Service Rep to join our dynamic, fast-paced team! The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that products meet our customers' delivery, quality, and safety expectations. This is a permanent, full-time position, offering a competitive pay and benefits package.Duties:
Perform daily activities associated with servicing all customer needs in a consistent, thorough and courteous manner while insuring first time accurate data and information processing. Initiate daily phone calls to customers inquiring on feasible customer request dates, informing on status and delivery updates, and translating between production and the customer any information necessary to process and deliver parts optimally. Responds to customer inquiries regarding order status, price and delivery, etc. in a timely and courteous fashion. • Serve as liaison between our customers and all departments in our company. Maintain thorough and accurate records of customer inquiries, requests and complaints in the system. Enter adequate notes on changing ship dates from dispatch sheets and through communication with production, as well as tracking reasons for missed delivery dates. Maintain special reports and internal metrics on a regular basis. Process EDI orders within our ERP system. Partner and support outside sales with customer information and current status.Requirements:
Computer Skills:
Ability to navigate and learn IQMS. Be currently proficient in MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel.Communication Skills:
Ability to be articulate, positive, and maintain professional oral and written communication. Able to project a professional, positive, relationship-extending image over the phone, and be proficient with phone featuresInterpersonal Skills:
Able to diffuse negative customer reactions. Able to build relationships with internal and external customersService Orientation :
Understand that our customers' needs are paramount and demonstrate the desire to do everything possible for the customerOther Skills:
High attention to detail, basic math, and the ability to perform detailed and accurate comparison of purchase orders to customer quotations.Education:
