Job Description
Company Overview:
VNE Corporation is a leading manufacturer of stainless steel fittings, valves, and related products for both sanitary and industrial applications. The Customer Service Representative will work with our Tooling Department and is responsible for technical assistance, taking orders and quotes from customers, entering orders and customer information, quoting customers on delivery and prices, and adjusting prices for customers to maintain their business.Job Responsibilities:
Interpret and analyze customers' inquiries, which may vary broadly in nature (i.e. - speeds & feeds, grade selection, tooling selection, quotations, terms, deliveries, applications, service, complaints, adjustments, requests for literature, price lists, instructions, etc.) Obtain information and dictate correspondence (answer telephone or personally confer with customers calling at the office.) Receive, edit and key into ERP customers' orders as to completeness of specifications, prices, customers' identity, and location for standardized product and part sales where order-checking procedures are established. Acknowledge customers' orders and advise customers on order changes, order status, pricing, etc. Follow up with complaints requiring replacements, adjustments and delivery dates. Delegate requests for information, complaints or service of a technical nature to the Engineering Department for analysis or disposition. Regular and dependable attendance is required. Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Prior knowledge of machining, marketing, sales, or customer service desired. CNC knowledge a plus. Requires up to one year's experience. Familiarity with computers, phone etiquette, business math, typing and 10 key desired. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.Benefits:
