Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a difference each day by working directly with elementary students in a vibrant educational environment. This rewarding opportunity allows you to use your Occupational Therapy expertise to nurture the growth, independence, and academic success of children from early childhood through fifth grade. In this full-time role, you'll collaborate with educators and families to develop supportive strategies that help every child reach their fullest potential. What we're looking for: Valid Occupational Therapy licensure for practice in Wisconsin Previous experience in school-based OT settings preferred Familiarity with home health or healthcare-based OT practices is a plus Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and family members in a collaborative team environment Commitment to working in-person (teletherapy is not available for this position)
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students in grades EC-5th Assess student needs and develop individualized therapy plans Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure effective support for each child Attend and contribute to team and IEP meetings, including some after-hours sessions as scheduled Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines This contract position is full time (40 hours/week) with core working hours between 8:00 am and 3:30 pm. Occasional after-hours meetings are required, providing opportunities to engage with your professional team and families.
