Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Customer Service Representative/Insurance Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be a frontline ambassador for our company, providing exceptional service to clients while guiding them through the insurance process and finding custom solutions that fit their needs. Your proactive approach and strong communication skills will help build lasting relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine customer service excellence with a growing understanding of the insurance industry, all within a supportive and growth-oriented environment. Duties Engage with customers via phone, email, and in person to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
Service existing clients:
Issue policy changes, review policy documents for accuracy, analyze policy components and conduct billing services. Efficiently navigate client billing inquiries to provide accurate information, and complete billing transactions with precision. Manage agency client accounts, maintaining strong relationships and regular contact to ensure satisfaction and retention. Assess and analyze current insurance policies to determine any necessary adjustments or if further review is needed. Provide personalized insurance solutions to clients by understanding their individual needs and recommending appropriate coverage opportunities. Explain policy features, terms, conditions, and coverages to clients clearly and accurately. Assist clients in filing claims and guide them through the claims process to ensure smooth and timely resolutions. Stay updated on insurance market trends, products, and regulations. Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, policy renewals, and new applications. Experience Previous experience in the financial services industry is highly desirable. High School diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred; in business, finance or a related field. State Insurance License preferred. We will train the right candidate from an entry level and will provide resources for state property and casualty insurance licensing Experience in customer service roles demonstrating active listening, problem-solving, and relationship building. Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment. Ability to understand and explain complex insurance policies and coverage details. Comfort with sales processes and general understanding of sales technique. Commitment to a 40 hour workweek and full-time schedule. Pay:
$20.00 - $29.00 per hour
