Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. This individual is responsible for receiving incoming customer calls and/or emails for equipment parts. They will be asked to provide technical support, order status, and general information related to customers' parts and service repair needs. Our customer service department is dedicated to Exceeding Customer Expectations, Continuous Growth, Giving Back, Great Results, and Having Fun. The ideal customer service representative has experience in customer service, is eager to learn, and willing to take on some warehousing assistance when needed. This position is perfect for a self-starter who wants to help their team and customers equally- allowing us to Be the Best. Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for answering calls from customers in a timely manner. Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction. Ability to communicate well with others with good customer service skills including person to person, phone, email, and texting. Assist with placement of orders, refunds, or exchanges. Customer care for all walk-in customers and telephone customers. Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support. Backup in the warehouse, when needed. Qualifications, Competencies & Requirements Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline is preferred OR 2 years of experience in turf management or the turf industry is preferred Experience with power equipment and/or irrigation products is preferred Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products is required ERP system experience is preferred Valid driver's license Ability to walk, stand, kneel, push, stoop, reach above the shoulder, grasp, pull, hear, see, write, count, speak, analyze, and alphabetize Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds Exceptional communication skills - written and verbal Strong attention to detail Proactive and strong sense of urgency Strong organization skills Honesty, integrity, passion, a positive attitude, and a growth mindset Strong work ethic Work Environment This is a fully in-person position at one work location Position may require occasional travel, not to exceed 2 weeks per year Conditions include working inside a temperature-regulated building Working outside in inclement weather, only as necessary Working in a warehouse and around forklifts/trucks, on occasion, as necessary Collaborating closely with others and working independently at times Collaborative teamwork environment Cultural Fit Our company is focused on enrichment, integrity, exceeding expectations, continuous growth, having fun, great results, and giving back All employees must have a strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proper business etiquette, and a professional demeanor Additional Pay Information This position will be eligible for a profit-sharing bonus after one full year of employment The pay is dependent on experience Storr Tractor Company is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other characteristic protected by law.
