Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist Supervisor to lead and support our occupational therapy team. This role combines clinical expertise, mentorship, and operational leadership to ensure high-quality patient care and professional growth within the department. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, collaborative leader, and skilled clinician who is passionate about mentoring therapists and maintaining high standards of care. Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Leadership Provide supervision and mentorship to occupational therapists, assistants, and support staff Ensure therapy services meet professional, ethical, and company standards Support staff with treatment planning, clinical problem-solving, and complex cases Monitor documentation quality, compliance, and productivity standards Team Development Conduct onboarding and ongoing training for clinical staff Perform performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback Foster a positive, collaborative, and growth-oriented team culture Assist in recruitment, interviewing, and program growth Patient Care Maintain a clinical caseload as needed Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals Collaborate with speech therapists, physical therapists, educators, physicians, and families Ensure excellent patient and caregiver communication Operations & Compliance Maintain compliance with state licensure requirements, HIPAA regulations, and payer guidelines Assist leadership with workflow optimization and department planning Participate in policy development and quality improvement initiatives Support scheduling coordination and caseload management Qualifications Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current Occupational Therapist license in New York Minimum of 3-5 years of pediatric and/or outpatient OT experience Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred Strong knowledge of documentation, compliance, and therapy best practices Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills Preferred Experience Experience working in multidisciplinary therapy settings Familiarity with sensory integration, feeding therapy, fine motor development, and adaptive equipment Experience mentoring clinicians or leading teams Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply Benefits Competitive salary Health, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off and holidays Continuing education support Professional development opportunities Supportive and collaborative team environment Flexible scheduling options Why Join Us?
