Job Description
Subsidiary Steel Dynamics Overview We are seeking a detailed oriented, customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role plays a key part in delivering excellent customer experience by managing customer accounts, handling inquiries and supporting sales efforts with professionalism and efficiency. Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service through timely, professional communication Accurately enter, process, and manage customer orders from initial entry through shipment Support customers with quotes, pricing, delivery inquiries, and issue resolutions Collaborate cross-functionally with Inside Sales Representatives, Regional Sales Managers, and other departments to ensure seamless customer experience Develop and apply knowledge of key business processes and internal systems, including the Sales Database and Pricing Module Consistently meet or exceed individual and team performance goals Qualifications Required Demonstrate strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining initiative and productivity during slower periods Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills Flexibility and willingness to travel as required Preferred Previous Customer Service Experience Bachelor's degree Experience using Salesforce Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.
