Job Description
Rosenberger North America is an innovative global leader in radio frequency technology with an international presence. Our products are used in wireless technology, telecom, test & measurement, automotive, medical, military, industrial and data systems. We are currently seeking a Customer Service & Sales Representative (CSSR) to join our team in Akron, PA. It is an exciting time to join Rosenberger North America! The Customer Service & Sales Representative (CSSR) is responsible for managing all aspects of day-to-day customer service functions for customer accounts. The Customer Service team at Rosenberger North America plays a fundamental role in achieving our customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, interacting via email, phone, or in-person to effectively collect and understand customer needs and requirements. Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and relationship building. Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate business area sales and executive teams for further development and closure. Provide introductory information to prospects turned to new customers. Oversee the order management process through the following functions, using Rosenberger North America's ERP system and proprietary applications: Customer Setup; Customer Purchase Order Receipt, review, and risk assessment; Work Order Creation; Order Inventory Tracking to On Time Delivery; Re-calibration Services; Request for Quote to Quotation; Verify pricing, terms, shipping method and lead time; Order Confirmation; Customer Complaints, Returns & Credits Ensure that customers are satisfied with products and services received. Maintain records of interactions with customers in the appropriate ERP modules. Generate or populate necessary customer specific reports for customers and the company. Liaise with business area outside sales personnel to report on quarterly business reviews to Territory/Market Segment owner. Participate in company and/or customer training sessions and Kaizen events. Maintain regular, predictable attendance. Perform other duties as assigned.Travel:
<5% travel (other locations, conferences, or training)Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree preferred. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, prior Customer Service or Inside Sales experience with knowledge of Customer Service ethics, principles, and procedures preferred or 5 years in a similar environment. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Strong interpersonal, customer service, listening and presentation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Applications, specifically Excel and Word. Proficient typing skills, and internet navigation. Proficiency in standard organizational, administrative and documentation procedures, with a proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, organize, and manage time effectively. Ability to answer a high volume of calls, emails and share work among a customer service team. Proficiency with ERP systems.Job Type:
