This role involves managing customer interactions, maintaining accurate data records, and supporting administrative functions. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Excel, have customer service and/or date entry experience, and have excellent organizational abilities to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service delivery. Duties Review and accurately enter sales orders (product knowledge not required) Process sales order paperwork and hand off to production scheduling crew to ensure timely delivery Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat with professionalism and efficiency Maintain and organize customer and sales order files Assist with data collection and data verification tasks Utilize Microsoft Excel to create generate reports and analyze data Support clerical tasks such as filing, copying, and document management Perform basic math calculations related to order processing or inventory management Input order requirements data into Forespar's manufacturing system on a daily basis. Collaborate with team members to improve office workflows and administrative processes Experience/Qualifications Prior office or administrative experience preferred, especially in customer service or data entry roles Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) required Strong typing skills with high accuracy is required. Experience with data entry, order processing, and office organization highly desirable Knowledge of basic math principles for data verification purposes Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Previous clerical experience involving filing, data collection, or handling invoices would be helpful. Forespar is has been a leading national/international supplier of sailing and boating products for over 50 years. We are located in Rancho Santa Margarita.
