Socomec North America (NAM) is Socomec's organization overseeing all operations in North America. About This Role At the heart of our business is an exceptional customer experience—and this role plays a critical part in delivering it. Partnering closely with our Area and Regional Sales Managers, you'll own and support a local customer portfolio, acting as a trusted point of contact and ensuring every interaction is seamless, responsive, and solution‑driven.
You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy balancing customer relationships, operations, and cross‑functional collaboration in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities Be a customer champion, delivering timely, professional, and high‑quality responses to customer inquiries. Serve as the front line of our business by managing the main phone line and connecting customers with the right internal experts (technical, finance, sales). Create, issue, and actively follow up on quotations to support Area Sales Managers and drive business forward. Own the end‑to‑end order process—from entry through invoicing—including coordination with local and overseas warehouses. Monitor inventory and stock availability to help ensure accurate, on‑time order fulfilment. Prioritize shipments to meet customer expectations and business priorities. Communicate clearly and proactively with customers through order acknowledgements and ongoing order updates. Collaborate closely with factory and headquarters teams to keep operations running smoothly. Partner with the Business and Finance Manager to resolve invoice questions and support collections. Manage customer returns efficiently, ensuring a positive resolution and experience. Essential Qualifications, Experience, And Skills More than 2 year experience in an equivalent position would be an advantage, but we would consider a candidate with less experience if they showed the correct aptitude for the role. IT savvy and comprehends ERP systems and procedures. Strong and successful experience leading and motivating. Mentoring, collaboration, influencing, and negotiation skills. Encourages and demonstrates accountability. Successfully establishes and maintains long-term relationships. Takes initiative Ability to work as part of a team. Works well under pressure. Takes ownership of issues and works alone with little or no supervision. Meets deadlines against time difference constraints (France headquarters & Logistics & West Coast). Result oriented and hands on. Entrepreneurial, resourceful, innovative and energetic; demonstrates a passion for results and a winning outlook. Analytical and detail-oriented. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the business acumen to clearly present concepts and ideas. Confidence when speaking to customers. Consistently demonstrates the highest level of integrity in all interactions and decision-making. Proactively anticipates. Problem solving skills. Extremely well organized and reliable. Manages multiple tasks while prioritizing work load. Exceptional follow-up, seeing tasks through to completion.

Compensation:
