Call Center Sales Manager

Job Description

ABOUT US
Junk.com is a fast-growing home services company built on family principles. We've hit a strong stride and we're building the team to match. You'll have real ownership of the sales floor and a direct line to leadership — your decisions show up in the numbers fast.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Call Center Sales Manager to lead the team that turns leads into booked jobs — across inbound calls, outbound callbacks, and channel-specific messaging like Yelp. You'll own the phones and the queues: who's on them, when, and how well they're converting. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who genuinely enjoys coaching a team, managing multi-channel workflows, and watching the numbers move.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Run the day-to-day floor — manage schedules, staff against call volume, and make sure the right people are on the phones at the right times Manage outbound call queues across multiple buckets: missed-call callbacks, warm leads, and follow-ups with clear priorities and response-time expectations Own channel-specific response workflows — assign reps to each lead source (including platform-based channels like Yelp), track response time, and drive conversion by source Coach reps on sales conversations, messaging quality, and customer experience across every channel Analyze performance metrics — conversion, talk time, abandon rate, response time, CSAT — and use them to drive improvements Partner with marketing on lead source performance: what's converting, what's not, and where to invest Partner with operations to ensure what we sell on the phone matches what we deliver in the field Own hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training for the sales team
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Proven experience managing a contact center or call center team Strong scheduling instincts — managing call volume flow and staffing the right reps at the right times is critical to this role Experience managing multi-channel response workflows: inbound calls, outbound callbacks, and platform-based messaging Ability to analyze performance metrics and develop strategies for improvement Comfortable working cross-functionally with marketing on lead source and channel strategy Proficiency with call center technology and CRM tools Strong communication skills — with both customers and direct reports Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field preferred Experience in home services, waste management, or a related service industry is a plus Willingness to complete pre-employment background and drug screening Must be able to provide acceptable documentation to establish identity and work authorization per I-9 guidelines
