Overview Join our dynamic healthcare support team as a Healthcare Call Center Supervisor, where your leadership and communication skills will drive exceptional client service and operational excellence. In this vital role, you will oversee daily call center activities, manage a team of dedicated customer service representatives, and ensure that all patient and client interactions are handled with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency. Your expertise in healthcare processes, technical proficiency, and multilingual abilities will empower you to create a positive experience for every caller while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the healthcare call center team, ensuring high-quality customer service delivery. Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members to enhance their communication skills, technical knowledge, and customer service problem-solving abilities. Monitor call quality, handle escalated issues, and implement strategies to improve overall call center performance. Manage phone call flow efficiently using phone etiquette best practices, ensuring timely responses to inquiries related to health insurance, medical terminology, and electronic health records (EHR) management. Oversee data entry accuracy within EMR/EHR systems while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance representatives to resolve client concerns promptly and accurately. Utilize Microsoft Office tools for reporting, documentation, and analysis of call center metrics to identify areas for improvement. Support multilingual communication needs by assisting bilingual team members or clients when necessary. Experience Proven experience in a call center environment within the healthcare industry or related field. Strong knowledge of health insurance processes, medical terminology, and electronic health records (EHR) management systems. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising or managing customer service teams. Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse populations effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook for reporting and documentation purposes. Familiarity with healthcare support services including patient inquiries, client services, data entry, and troubleshooting technical issues related to EMR/EHR systems. Ability to handle high-volume phone calls efficiently while maintaining professionalism through phone call management and phone etiquette standards. Strong analysis skills to interpret performance data and implement continuous process improvements.
