This position is based primarily at our Eagle River facility, one of Alaska's most modern self-storage facilities, where you'll help serve customers, maintain a clean and secure property, and support the day-to-day operations of the business in a professional and welcoming environment. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working independently, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and is willing to step in and support the team when needed. While Eagle River will be your primary location, occasional opportunities to assist at our other facilities in Wasilla and Palmer help keep our team running smoothly. Schedule This position provides a consistent 20-hour per week schedule.

•2:00 PM (Required) We are willing to work with the right candidate to adjust the weekday schedule if needed. Saturday availability is required , as this shift is an important part of the position. The ideal candidate is also willing to work additional hours—including temporary full-time schedules of up to two weeks at a time—to help provide staffing coverage at any of our locations in Wasilla or Palmer when needed. Responsibilities Assist customers in person, over the phone, and online Recommend storage solutions based on customer needs Process rentals, payments, and account updates Maintain a clean, organized, and professional facility Monitor property activity and uphold security standards Occasionally assist at our Wasilla and Palmer locations to help provide staffing coverage Perform light property upkeep to maintain a welcoming appearance Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills Reliable, organized, and self-motivated Comfortable working independently Ability to adapt and solve problems in real time Reliable transportation required Ability to occasionally work additional hours or temporary full-time coverage is strongly preferred Tech-savvy and a natural problem solver is a plus. If you're the person friends or coworkers ask for help when a computer, app, printer, network, or piece of equipment isn't working, you'll probably fit in well here. Formal IT experience is not required. Physical Requirements This position combines customer service with light property maintenance.
Applicants should be able to:
Walk the property throughout the day to inspect the facility and assist customers Sweep storage units and common areas as needed Shovel snow from the office entrance and storage unit doors during winter conditions, when necessary Work both indoors and outdoors in typical Alaska weather conditions Pay & Growth (Starting Pay) $20
•24 per hour , with quarterly profit-sharing bonuses and room to grow in both responsibilities and compensation.
