Fayetteville, AR (In-Person, Full-Time) About Benton Lane Benton Lane is a fast-growing family of home and gift brands, including Painted Paper, Lemon Park, Aspen&Arlo, Hillcroft Home and more. We create beautiful, thoughtfully designed products for the home—from wallpaper and wrapping paper to furniture and fabrics—all made in the U.S. We're hiring a Trade Coordinator to join our growing trade team in Fayetteville. This role is all about relationships and customer experience—helping interior designers, retailers, and other trade partners discover our brands, understand our trade program, find the right products, and have a great experience working with us. You'll be one of the primary voices of our trade team, spending a lot of your day communicating directly with customers by phone and email. You'll build relationships, answer questions, help customers navigate our products and programs, and keep conversations and orders moving. It's a great role for someone who genuinely enjoys talking with people, is naturally organized, and wants to build a career in the home and design industry. What You'll Do Be on the front lines of our trade business, answering incoming emails and phone calls from designers, retailers, and other trade customers and making sure they get a fast, helpful, and friendly response. Spend a meaningful part of your day on the phone with customers, including sample follow-ups, welcome calls, and conversations with customers interested in joining our trade program. Welcome and onboard new trade customers, helping them understand our program, our brands, and how to get the most out of working with us. Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact across our brands, helping customers with everything from product questions and recommendations to samples, quotes, orders, and shipping updates. Build strong relationships with our trade customers through thoughtful communication, proactive follow-up, and genuinely great service. Help customers discover products that fit their projects and needs, making thoughtful recommendations and guiding them through the ordering process. Own customer issues when things don't go as planned. Listen well, communicate clearly, and work across teams to find thoughtful solutions that protect the customer relationship. Keep customer conversations, orders, samples, and follow-ups organized so nothing falls through the cracks. Partner closely with our customer experience, product, marketing, and fulfillment teams to solve problems and continually improve the trade customer experience. Potential to occasionally represent Benton Lane and our brands at in-person trade events, markets, or other customer-facing events. You're a Great Fit If You Genuinely enjoy talking with people. You're warm, confident, and comfortable picking up the phone, starting a conversation, and building rapport with someone you haven't met before. Are service-minded and relationship-driven. You care about understanding what a customer needs and creating an experience that makes them want to continue working with us. Stay calm when things get complicated. You can navigate a frustrated customer, ask good questions, and work toward a solution without getting flustered or defensive. Are incredibly organized. You can keep track of multiple customers, orders, conversations, and details without losing momentum. Take initiative. You don't wait around for someone to tell you every next step—you see what needs to happen and jump in. Communicate clearly. Whether you're writing an email, talking with a designer on the phone, or coordinating internally, you're professional, thoughtful, and easy to work with. Appreciate great design. You're excited by interiors, home products, color, pattern, and beautifully made things. Learn quickly and adapt easily. We're growing fast, and our processes will evolve. You're excited by that rather than intimidated by it. Have some experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, account management, design, or another customer-facing role. Why Work With Us? If you're early in your career and looking for a place where you can learn fast, take on real responsibility, and grow with the company, Benton Lane is a great place to do it. We're a small, ambitious team, which means you'll get exposure to much more than one narrow job description. You'll work alongside people across sales, marketing, product, operations, and fulfillment, learn how a growing e-commerce business actually works, and have opportunities to take on more as you prove yourself. We move quickly, try new things, and expect everyone to contribute ideas—not just execute someone else's playbook. You don't need to come in knowing everything. We're looking for people who are curious, driven, coachable, and excited to get better. For someone who wants to build skills, figure out what they're great at, and make a meaningful impact early in their career, there's a lot of opportunity here.
