Customer Service Coordinator I ABF Freight - 3.5 Fort Smith, AR Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications Computer operation Mainframe Desktop applications Productivity software Full Job Description Job Description The Customer Service Coordinator is responsible for managing a variety of shipments and addressing customer concerns. This position requires superior customer service skills as well as the efficient utilization of resources including effective customer, service center, and field communication to make decisions that resolve urgent transportation-related scenarios. Responsibilities Provide accurate information regarding multiple services and solutions offered by ArcBest. Handle a large volume of interactions through multiple channels including phone, email, and chat. Provide tracking updates and communicate delivery modifications. Maintain effective lines of communication with internal and external customers. Use multiple systems and programs in support of customer needs and expectations. Identify customer requirements to generate quotes tailored to their shipping needs. Schedule pickup requests and submit rate corrections. Create bills of lading (BOL's) and provide shipment-specific documentation. Other duties and projects, as assigned.
Requirements Education:
Bachelor's Degree, preferred
Experience:
less than 1 year Prior experience in customer service or logistics.
Computer Skills:
Proficient understanding of PC and mainframe computer applications, including Microsoft Office programs, required

Work hours vary based on scheduling to provide market coverage during normal business hours generally Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m., with occasional irregular and weekend hours depending on workload.
