Team Leader (Seasonal) See's Candies Little Rock, AR Job Details Temporary | Full-time $21.58 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Retail industry sales team management experience Merchandising Processing cash transactions Cost control Sales team management Shelf stocking Change management Sales coaching Conducting staff training sessions as a store manager Sales leadership Loss prevention Retail management Delegation Technical Proficiency Management experience within retail industry Preventing cash discrepancies Full Job Description Job Summary This is a season holiday position that is responsible for onsite management of a single retail location, ensuring that staff, product, and shop operations are handled in accordance with See's guidelines and corporate philosophy in the areas of sales goal achievement, customer service, cost control, visual merchandising, policy compliance, leadership and safety. Responsibilities Directly responsible for providing leadership to the HGC's team to achieve seasonal goals, while meeting See's standards for customer service. Promotes a sales driven working environment. Directly responsible for positively communicating and implementing Company direction, policies and programs. Delegates and follows up to ensure compliance. Provides appropriate training and coaching to all team members to ensure understanding and compliance with all rules, policies, procedures and programs. Monitors team members' performance. Responsible for recruiting, selecting and recommending qualified candidates for hiring. Follows company interview and selection guidelines. Leads by example to ensure all team members are in compliance with Customer Service program; Visual Merchandising guidelines; Product Management and Loss Prevention; and Work Rules. Communicates with Area Coordinator regarding issues pertaining to customer service, shop operations and cash handling & loss prevention. Promotes open, positive communication. Leads by example in providing appropriate coaching and feedback to the shop's team in a professional manner. Provided consistent updates to Area Coordinator regarding daily operations and employee performance. Partners with the Area Coordinators on addressing any policy violations or lack of compliance. Does not provide disciplinary action without proper approval from upper management. Directly responsible for ensuring all procedures related to cash handling, protection of See's assets and banking are followed at all times. Maintains the accuracy and integrity of all timekeeping records. Implements weekly work schedule and consults with Area Coordinator when changes are needed due to fluctuation in business volume and/or due to unexpected staffing needs. Maintains regular and punctual attendance. Ensures all paperwork is submitted according with established deadlines and protocols. This includes all paperwork related to banking of See's assets/receipts; new hire paperwork; and paperwork related to changes in employee personal data; sales information; inventory results; etc. Ensures all team members are in compliance with all Safety Program guidelines, including daily exercises, reviewing company provided safety topic, accident prevention, reporting, participating in investigation and resolution led by Area Coordinators, Emergency Action Plan, and hold-up procedures. Provides information required by the Area Coordinator and Shop Operations Office according to deadlines. Other projects as assigned. All See's staff must be committed to the company's core principles and workplace values, including diversity and inclusion Minimum Qualifications Physical ability to carry out the essential functions of the job, including: stocking shelves, ringing sales, standing or walking the entire shift and lifting up to 25 pounds frequently. Minimum 3 years of retail management experience. The ability to adhere to company standards for dress code. Proven success in communicating in a positive and effective manner; ability in developing, motivating, training and coaching employees. Proven ability to grow the business by seeking sales opportunities and developing a sales driven team. Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and manage change efficiently, proactively, and in a positive manner. Experience in cash management and protection of assets. Flexible work schedule, ability to work 32-40 work with possibility of overtime depending on the business needs.
