Full Job Description Customer Service Manager Company Background:

Role:

- The Customer Service Manager will oversee daily customer service operations, manage a team of representatives, and ensure seamless coordination between customers, operations, and overseas agents. This role is critical in maintaining service excellence, improving response times, and strengthening long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the Customer Service team (import/export operations support) Oversee shipment lifecycle: booking, documentation, tracking, and delivery updates Ensure timely and accurate communication with customers and overseas agents Handle escalations, claims, and service-related issues Improve SOPs and workflows to increase efficiency and service quality Coordinate closely with Sales, Operations, and Pricing teams Monitor KPIs (response time, shipment accuracy, customer satisfaction) Train, mentor, and develop team members Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and documentation

Requirements:

- 5-8+ years of experience in freight forwarding / logistics 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role Strong knowledge of: Air & ocean import/export processes Shipping documentation (BL, AWB, customs clearance, etc.) Experience handling high-volume shipments and key accounts Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Qualifications:

- Experience working with global agents (Asia, Southeast Asia preferred) Familiarity with CargoWise or similar freight systems Experience supporting Sales team on key accounts Bilingual (English + Chinese or other Asian languages is a plus)
