Fairfield, CA About the Company We are a growing architectural lighting manufacturing company providing professional architectural lighting products and engineering, drafting, and project support services as related to our products. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused SAL Customer Service Coordinator to join our team. Position Overview The SAL CSC will provide administrative, customer service, and project support to our nationwide agency sales team. This position is an important point of contact for sales representatives and requires excellent communication skills, professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple active projects and priorities. Key Responsibilities Provide professional and friendly customer service to sales Representative by phone, email, and in person. [35%] Enter daily sales orders into ERP system. [35%] Identify daily order status updates for representatives. Enter new part numbers into the ERP system. Respond to sales representative inquiries and provide timely follow-up with post-sales support. Assist sales representative with questions regarding projects, services, scheduling, and documentation. Coordinate and communicate product information to and from the engineering department Support architects, engineers, and project managers with project-related tasks. Prepare, organize, and maintain documents, quotes, reports, and project files. Assist with quotes, and other project documentation. Schedule customer meetings, appointments, site visits, and project discussions. Track project deadlines, follow-ups, and outstanding client requests. Maintain accurate sales representative and project information. Assist with preparing correspondence, spreadsheets, presentations, and reports. Follow up with sales representative regarding requested information, documents, approvals, and project updates. Handle sales representative concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary. Maintain organized digital filing systems. Provide general administrative and office support to the architectural lighting engineering team. Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, sales support, administrative assistance, or office coordination preferred. Experience in the lighting industry is recommended Experience in architecture, engineering, construction, or a related industry is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Friendly, professional, and customer-focused personality. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities. Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with Epicor is a plus. Ability to learn new software and project management systems. Reliable, professional, and team-oriented. Preferred Skills Experience working with sales representatives in a professional services environment. Knowledge of architectural lighting, engineering, or construction terminology. Familiarity with reading drawings, accessing or manipulating drawings in CADD and converting drawings to PDF or similar software is a plus. Experience with scheduling, quotes estimates, or project coordination. Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills. What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience.
