Service Manager/Director

Duties Lead and motivate the service department team to achieve high performance standards in customer service and technical excellence Oversee daily operations including scheduling, workflow management, and quality control of automotive repairs such as transmissions, brake repair, oil changes, alignments, suspension work, tire services, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and auto body repairs Manage customer interactions by providing transparent estimates, explaining repairs clearly, and ensuring a positive experience that encourages repeat business and upselling opportunities Monitor and improve service efficiency by implementing best practices in automotive diagnostics, mechanical troubleshooting, and service writing Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper documentation for auto estimating and billing processes Maintain compliance with safety standards and dealership policies to ensure a secure working environment Develop strategies to increase sales through effective upselling of additional services such as vehicle maintenance packages or repair enhancements Requirements Proven dealership experience with a strong background in auto service management or automotive operations leadership Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, alignments, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body repair techniques Hands-on experience working as a service technician or mechanic is highly desirable to understand technical challenges firsthand Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Proficiency in auto estimating software and service writing processes to accurately document repairs and generate detailed invoices Demonstrated ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining integrity and customer trust Strong leadership qualities with experience managing a team of technicians and support staff in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in cash handling and record-keeping Valid knowledge of automotive repair standards and safety regulations Join us as we drive excellence in automotive care!
