The ideal candidate will ensure that all store activities are completed efficiently, customer service standards are maintained, and the store is prepared for the next business day. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a focus on delivering excellent customer experiences during closing hours. Duties Lead and supervise staff during the closing shift to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. Oversee daily store operations, including cash handling, and ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any customer concerns or questions during closing hours. Ensure all sales transactions are properly finalized and documented. Coordinate with team members to complete closing procedures, including securing cash registers, locking doors, and setting alarms. Monitor store conditions to prevent theft or damage and report any issues to management promptly. Train and support staff in closing procedures to promote consistency and efficiency. Maintain a positive work environment by motivating team members and fostering teamwork. Qualifications Previous experience in retail management or supervisory roles within a grocery store setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to ensure all closing tasks are completed thoroughly. Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively.
