In this pivotal role, you will oversee the maintenance, repair, DME equipmen Mobility devices , ensuring optimal performance and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of field service technicians responsible for DME equipment installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair across multiple healthcare facilities. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs aligned with OEM specifications and industry standards to maximize equipment uptime. Oversee calibration procedures and test equipment operation for biomedical devices to ensure accuracy and compliance with ISO standards and biomedical regulatory requirements. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to schedule work orders, track service activities, and maintain detailed documentation of repairs, calibrations, and inspections. Diagnose complex electro-mechanical issues using electrical diagnostics, schematic reading, and interpretation of electrical schematics to troubleshoot equipment effectively. Ensure all field service activities conform to biomedical regulatory compliance standards, including safety protocols related to electro-mechanical components and medical electronics. Foster strong customer relationships through exceptional service delivery, clear communication, and timely resolution of technical issues. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of OEM specifications for various DME products to facilitate effective repairs and upgrades. Promote continuous improvement initiatives within the team by identifying training needs related to advanced electronics troubleshooting for biomedical equipment. Qualifications Proven experience in biomedical engineering or a related healthcare technology field with extensive knowledge of DME equipment repair and maintenance. Strong mechanical skills for biomedical equipment with the ability to interpret electrical schematics and perform electrical diagnostics confidently. Hands-on experience with OEM equipment systems, calibration procedures, test equipment operation for biomedical devices, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting. Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and documentation purposes. Knowledge of ISO standards, biomedical regulatory compliance requirements, and industry best practices in healthcare technology services. Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to resolving technical issues efficiently. Ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Electrical diagnostics expertise combined with mechanical knowledge specific to medical electronics and electro-mechanical components used in DME products.
