  • Pest Control Starting pay: $22
  • 24 per hour, depending on experience, plus commissions and performance bonuses Insight Pest Management is looking for a proactive, organized Customer Service & Scheduling Coordinator to manage the front of the house for our routine pest-control operations.
This is not a passive receptionist position. You will help turn incoming inquiries into booked customers, keep technician routes organized, follow up on open opportunities, confirm upcoming appointments, and professionally work early past-due balances. The right person enjoys talking with customers, follows through without repeated reminders, and can manage several priorities while maintaining accurate records. What You'll Be Responsible For Answer incoming customer calls promptly and professionally Respond to new inquiries received by phone, web, email, and text Ask the right questions, explain service options, and convert qualified leads into booked appointments Schedule recurring and one-time pest-control services Organize appointments geographically to reduce technician drive time and build efficient routes Confirm upcoming services and resolve scheduling conflicts before they affect the customer or technician Follow up on open estimates and customers who have not completed their agreements Make proactive post-service and customer-care calls Help retain customers by handling routine concerns calmly and escalating larger issues appropriately Contact customers regarding early past-due balances and document each attempt Maintain accurate customer, appointment, invoice, and communication records Coordinate closely with the Operations Manager and field technicians Identify termite and specialty-service opportunities and hand them to the appropriate team member What Success Looks Like A successful person in this role: Answers calls consistently and minimizes missed opportunities Follows up when promised without being reminded Converts qualified inquiries into booked work Helps customers choose recurring service when it is the right fit Keeps appointment confirmations current Builds efficient, geographically organized technician routes Keeps early past-due accounts from becoming larger collection problems Leaves clear, accurate notes so the next person knows exactly what happened Brings problems to the Operations Manager early rather than allowing them to grow What We're Looking For Strong telephone and written communication skills A warm, confident, and professional customer-service style Demonstrated follow-through and personal accountability Comfort asking for the appointment, following up on a decision, and requesting payment Ability to prioritize multiple calls, messages, appointments, and follow-up tasks Strong attention to detail when entering customer and scheduling information Ability to remain composed with frustrated customers Comfort learning CRM, scheduling, and office software Willingness to work from written procedures and use checklists Ability to accept coaching and improve through measurable feedback Basic competency with email, documents, shared files, and web-based business systems Experience in home services, dispatching, route scheduling, inside sales, property management, HVAC, plumbing, landscaping, or pest control is helpful but not required. We can teach pest control; we need someone who already understands follow-through. Compensation and Benefits Starting hourly pay of $22

Accelerated Six-Week Training Program The selected candidate will complete a structured six-week training program designed to move from supervised learning to ownership of the position's core responsibilities.
Training includes:
Customer intake and phone triage Pest-control services and terminology Customer account setup Sales and estimate follow-up GorillaDesk and company systems Scheduling and route coordination Appointment confirmations Customer retention and service recovery Accounts-receivable follow-up Performance expectations and measurable position outcomes The position also includes an optional study path toward a California Structural Pest Control Board Branch 2 Field Representative license.
