Job Description

Customer Service Coordinator Functions:
The primary function of the Customer Service Coordinator is to interact with and support the Inside Sales team as it relates to entering purchase orders into our system. As well as other responsibilities described in more detail below. In addition to working closely with sales, this position requires coordination with the Manufacturing shop office group. Specifically the order planners. This is an hourly position and reports directly to the HR/Administrative Manager.
Skill Requirement:
To be successful in the position the applicant should have a good working knowledge of basic mathematics, be well versed in Word and Excel and possess conversational and written skills of a technical, friendly and congenial manner and have the capability to read and interpret customer sketches, Basic Auto-Cad drawings and specifications to aid in proper order entry. A manufacturing, planning or industrial distribution background is always helpful. We are willing to train the right applicant if we feel they are qualified.
Responsibilities:
Receive and process on a daily basis incoming new orders from the sales team and efficiently and in a timely manner review, and enter the orders in the system. Process in a timely manner any change orders or revisions to orders previously written up. Relay those changes in the proper protocol to the shop office team. Review and process freight invoices. Including filing freight claims as needed and getting freight quotes from time to time. Manage and maintain the daily order entry report. This tracks the daily sales and down payments received for the day. Be the lead for processing and applying RGA's (returned goods authorizations) for when customers need to return an item for credit. As well as work with vendors to make sure we get credit for RGA's on our end. Work with Management to investigate any customer complaints regarding issues with their order. Help answer incoming phone calls to the office when needed. Perform required tasks in an expeditious, efficient and accurate manner. Be on time and demonstrate good attendance.

Rate (Up to): $21.00 - $21.00 Per Hour
