Position summary:
Support the utility operations team with direct support for scheduling, entering customer information, documenting work and providing support for the team.
Pay Range:
$23.72 per hour (Determined by the current Collective Bargaining Unit).

Pueblo, Colorado Essential Functions:
In coordination with the Utility Construction Planning and Operations departments schedule daily work for service and operational employees and/or crews through scheduling tools. Monitor scheduling tools and provide support to Operations Supervisors with scheduling employees for PTO, training and appointments. Provide support for updating schedules per the direction of the Utility Construction Planning and Operations Supervisor. Support meter issue investigations, processing meter changes and equipment orders. Support service-related work in coordination with the Utility Construction Planning Department and the Operations Supervisors. Assist with expense reporting, accounts payable, processing invoices, and invoice 3rd party damage, Construction (CIAC) and technical services. Assist in tracking contract deposits and refunds for customer construction. Investigate and respond to customer account inquiries. Review and process customer information reports, including metering reports for correct measurement and billing. Receive, process, balance drawer and post customer payments. Utilize CIS+ customer information system and agency report to investigate and document diversions. Enter service orders as needed. Support Service Guard/Comfort Plan program. Interface with customers on account management and customer issues as needed by phone or walk-in. Contact customers regarding delinquent residential and small commercial accounts. Support credit and collections, payments services and BHEAP program as required. Audit metering reports for correct measurement, billing and accuracy of service orders and account information. Assist with processing, scanning, filing and maintaining operations related materials and data entry into electronic systems. Provide support to Supervisor regarding customer matters. Assist with arranging meetings and taking notes.

Provide support to other areas of the Company as requested or assigned. Maintain positive working relationships with all Company employees. Ability to work with confidential customer information and maintain confidentiality Requires the ability to demonstrate good customer service and interpersonal skills.
What Is Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum (3) three years of related experience
What Is Desired:
Experience in a utility environment Requires knowledge of utility rules and regulations as required. Requires the ability to perform basic mathematic calculations. Ability to gain knowledge and understanding of electrical transmission and distribution system. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-task environment as a collaborative team member. Independent, well-organized, self-starter and able to adapt to change. Ability to develop and implement work processes which contribute to increased efficiencies. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Ability to accurately resolve customer complaints in a diplomatic and professional manner. Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to professionally interface with customers and individuals across the organization. Excellent organizational skills. Skilled at data entry including the use of Word, Excel, and other computer programs. Ability to understand and utilize continuous improvement tools and concepts.
