Boat Service Advisor

Fish Tale Boats is looking for a Service Advisor. This is a full-time position that works alongside a team of key service personnel to offer an industry leading customer experience. Ideal candidates will have strong communication and organizational skills. This position primarily assists in coordinating service and warranty needs during the initial ownership period for our new boat owners. Must have a positive, upbeat personality and possess skills in dealing with customer concerns. Should also be well-spoken and well-written. Applicants should have experience operating business software and be capable of learning our marine business software. You do not need a mechanic's knowledge, but we will be looking for you to have experience boating. Job duties for this position include:

• Answer phone calls, text messages and emails
• Handle customer walk-ins and assist in scheduling appointments
• Coordinate with CSI Manager and Shop Foreman to resolve customer concerns
• Create & print job tickets
• Make contact with warranty partners as needed to resolve issues
• Assist in gathering information as needed to process warranty claims
• Communicate timely with customer and follow-up on concerns
• Keep team updated and on track with customer expectations
• Keep job paperwork organized from start to finish
• Gather and verify accuracy of information on job tickets
• Close & print final bills
• Perform payment processing as needed
• Schedule boat return and coordinate with dispatching
• Create & Close Purchase Orders for subcontractors Fish Tale is a family-owned small to medium-sized business that has been under the same ownership since 1996.

We are a well-respected, premium boat dealership offering sales and service of boats, motors, and trailers at our two locations in SWFL. This position will be for the main location in South Fort Myers, at the corner of US-41 and Briarcliff Rd. This is a Full-Time 40hr position. Hours of Operation are Monday

• Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.
