THE POSITION IN A NUTSHELL
Sciens Building Solutions is seeking a Deficiency Coordinator for our fire alarm, sprinkler, and security business. The role of the Deficiency Coordinator is to estimate and then generate sales proposals for repair work that has been identified during contracted fire alarm, sprinkler, and life safety system inspections. The coordinator acts as the primary point of contact within the Division for customers with outstanding deficiencies ensure they are quoted and completed.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
(and doing well!) Generate system repair estimates and proposals in a timely manner upon the completion of inspections. Coordinate with customers to facilitate timely repair of deficiences Develop relationships with field inspectors and obtain copies of inspection reports for timely evaluation and quoting. Gain commitment from the customer over the phone and/or email. Coordinate with the service department on scheduling of repairs. Provide customers with recommendations and communicate system integrity issues that require urgent repair. Develop positive ongoing relationships with customers and understand the customers buying process. Track deficiency quotations by customer and dollar amount. Deliver sales to an assigned quota. Interface effectively with the service department to ensure timely scheduling of repairs. Engage with service managers and other sales representatives as required based on size and scope of repairs. Provide written notice to customers who elect not to perform repairs. Be a customer advocate and ensure all customer expectations are exceeded.
WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT YOU!
Bachelor's degree preferred. Candidates with a combination of education and experience will be considered. Fire Alarm, Sprinkler or Security industry knowledge a plus. Over the counter sales or customer service experience. Comfortable with proactively reaching out to customers and solving problems. Strong computer skills Organized and processed oriented. Effective communication skills and ability to present before broad audiences. Strong negotiation skills and competitive spirit.
