Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marine Service Manager to lead our marine service department with enthusiasm and expertise. Duties Lead and manage the marine service department, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery Develop and implement strategies to increase upselling opportunities, including recommending additional services such as engine diagnostics, transmission repairs, or hull maintenance Oversee the estimation process using estimating software, ensuring accurate and transparent quotes for customers Supervise service technicians, providing guidance on automotive diagnostics, mechanical repairs, collision repair, and general vessel maintenance Maintain strong client communication by explaining repair procedures, estimated costs, and timelines clearly and professionally Monitor inventory levels for parts such as tires, shocks & struts, brake components, oils, and other marine-specific supplies Ensure compliance with safety standards and uphold dealership policies related to vehicle and boat repairs Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining excellent customer service throughout the repair process Qualifications Proven dealership experience with a solid understanding of automotive repair processes and marine service operations Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in auto service management or as a service technician Proficiency in estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, transmissions, oil changes, alignments, suspension systems, tire services, shocks & struts, brake repairs, and collision repair techniques Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively to clients Demonstrated ability in upselling additional services to enhance customer satisfaction and department revenue Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate various marine vehicles or equipment preferred Cash handling experience is desirable but not mandatory Join us as a Marine Service Manager where your expertise will steer our team toward success!
