Job Description:
The Facilities Contract Service Manager, oversees all phases of contract related contracted services within the Facilities division position is directly accountable to the Executive Director of Facilities for the following duties and responsibilities: The individual filling this position is expected to play a positive role in helping the College change as necessary to effectively carry out its mission. The Facilities Contract Service Manager shall be accountable to the Executive Director of Facilities Department for the effective organization, coordination, and supervision of contracted service providers including custodial, landscaping, fire protection and other service agreements within the facilities division. In fulfilling this role, shall be responsible for such specific assignments as follows: Oversight and administration of all contracted service providers in regard to on-going contracts to ensure compliance and conformance to agreements. Evaluate bid, proposals, and quotations, conduct cost and price analysis. Develop procurement strategies for projects to assist project managers in developing scope of work and specifications for minor campus maintenance projects. Coordinate with State, County and City agencies; prepare and submit required compliance reports. Provide coordination scheduling and support to campus special events in conjunction with contracted resources and facilities staff. Responsible for providing monthly inspection reports of the status of contracted service providers and conditions pertaining of services in order to ensure compliance of conditions prior to the approval of invoices.. Assist in the preparation of contracted services budget and oversight service agreements. Serves a point of contact for the department's code compliance (e.g. ADA Fire Safety) compliance issues and other code-related issues in regard to contracted serveries. Responds and resolves customer services issues as they relate to contracted service performance. Benefits Health insurance for employee and dependent coverage available. Requirements:
AA or AS Degree required. Two (2) to four (4) years of documented relevant work experience required. Minimum of two (2) years College course work in management/business administration is preferred. Ability to supervise in a professional manner. Show a capacity for professional growth and development Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) required Must be bondable and possess a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
