Job Description
Position Summary The Operations / Customer Service Coordinator is responsible for purchasing execution, supplier follow-up, customer communication, ERP updates, and documentation support. The role issues accurate purchase orders, secures supplier acknowledgments, monitors material status, directs customer requests to the right internal contacts, and maintains purchasing and customer service records. U.S.

Essential Responsibilities Issue accurate purchase orders and maintain purchasing records in the ERP system. Monitor open purchase orders and follow up with suppliers on late deliveries, backorders, pricing discrepancies, documentation, and order changes. Enter and maintain customer orders, revisions, acknowledgements, correspondence, and supporting documentation. Route customer order changes, pricing questions, technical questions, delivery concerns, and return requests to the appropriate internal owner. Support RMA intake by collecting required customer information. Maintain organized digital and physical records for purchasing customer service, supplier communication, customer communication, and order support. Order supplies and manage daily office needs. Support leadership with special projects and ensure operational tasks do not fall through the cracks. Communicate professionally with prospective clients, vendors, and outside contacts. Qualifications & Experience Required High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college, community college, associate degree, or bachelor's-level coursework preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable using Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace. Comfortable learning new software and administrative systems. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Professional telephone manner. Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally when occasionally required. Previous experience in customer service or office administration. Preferred Manufacturing purchasing or buyer experience Experience purchasing technical materials, custom components, tooling, production supplies, or outside processing services. Experience supporting supplier acknowledgements, receiving discrepancies, customer order updates, and purchasing documentation. Experience working with specialty materials, custom products, or made-to-order manufacturing.Benefits:
