Job Description
Godfrey Electric Inc is looking for an experienced Service Manager to run our Service Department which services Palm Beach, Broward, Martin and St Lucie County. We offer a comprehensive benefit package including Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays and Health / Dental / Life / Disability Insurance. We also have a 401K with match available. This position is salary based with commissions. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of service management experience in the electrical field Demonstrated success managing teams of 3 or more technicians Proficient with computers and common industry software Proficient with electrical estimating software such as McCormick Established working relationships with vendors and distributors Strong customer service and communication skills Experience performing thermal inspections with Fluke equipment and software Valid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Must qualify for school board and county badging OSHA 10 certification preferred; certification is required for this role and must be obtained upon hire if not currently held Journeyman electrical license preferred but not required Prior field experience strongly preferred Experience using modern AI tools such as Claude to improve efficiency preferred Bilingual English and Spanish a plus Proven leadership ability with a collaborative approach Godfrey Electric Inc. has been in business for over 75 years now.
