Job Description

The ReStore Donation Coordinator will oversee donation scheduling, and other administrative duties. Most of your time will be spent executing and planning the donation intake schedule through phone calls, answering questions, customer follow up and scheduling through ThriftCart software. The Donation Coordinator plays an essential role in achieving operational and financial goals for the ReStore and in turn promotes the overall mission of Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Lead donation pick up scheduling through daily phone calls, answering customer scheduling questions and customer follow ups and thank you's. Donation scheduling through ThriftCart software. Contacting ThriftCart support when necessary. Great communication with ReStore Manager, other managers, donation ambassadors and volunteers. Organizing and maintaining donation records and paperwork. Maintaining and enforcing donation guidelines in a polite and professional manner. Ensuring that ReStore policies are followed and documented as needed. Send donor acknowledgements and thank you's with donation software for donation pickups. Main contact for ReSupply, including managing the relationship and conflict resolution as needed. Corporate donor procurement and stewardship. Any additional coordinating or administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Required Knowledge/Skills:
Exceptional customer service, phone etiquette, computer skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Office required. Experience working with in-kind donations preferred but not required. Knowledge of ReStore operations, procedures, equipment, inventory and terminology. Friendly and genuine, with ability to communicate and build respect with coworkers, volunteers, donors, and overall customer base. Dependable, team-player with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Working hours:
Tuesday-Friday 8:45am-4:15pm Commitment to Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity's mission and principles.
