We are seeking an experienced Scheduling Supervisor to lead our scheduling department, oversee caregiver scheduling operations, and ensure exceptional service for our clients and caregivers. Position Summary The Scheduling Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the home care scheduling department. This leadership role supervises scheduling staff, coordinates caregiver schedules, manages client coverage, and works closely with clinical, HR, payroll, and operations teams to ensure high-quality care and efficient staffing. Key Responsibilities of the Scheduling Supervisor Coordinate caregiver schedules for new and existing home care clients. Ensure all client visits are staffed appropriately. Manage daily schedule changes, caregiver call-outs, and emergency staffing needs. Optimize caregiver schedules to improve continuity of care and efficiency. Monitor Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) compliance and scheduling accuracy. Leadership & Team Management Supervise and mentor the home care scheduling team. Train new schedulers on company procedures and scheduling software. Monitor scheduling KPIs and department performance. Foster teamwork and provide ongoing coaching. Client & Caregiver Relations Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated scheduling concerns. Communicate professionally with caregivers, clients, families, referral sources, and case managers. Build positive relationships while maintaining exceptional customer service. Payroll, Compliance & Quality Assurance Review schedules for payroll accuracy. Audit schedules for authorization compliance and documentation. Ensure company scheduling policies and procedures are followed. Assist with quality assurance initiatives and regulatory compliance. Administrative Responsibilities Maintain accurate EMR documentation. Assist with recruiting and onboarding caregivers. Participate in management meetings and operational planning. Support after-hours scheduling coverage as needed. Qualifications for the Scheduling Supervisor Previous home care scheduling experience required. Previous leadership or management experience preferred. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
