Join Our Team! We're looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Front-End Manager to lead our cashier team and help create a welcoming, positive shopping experience for every customer. As Front-End Manager, you'll be an important part of keeping our checkout area running smoothly while training, supporting, coaching, and motivating our cashiers. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, stays calm and positive in a busy environment, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service. And, of course, a good sense of humor is always a welcome addition to the team! This position also oversees the Cleaning and Maintenance staff and, with the General Manager, assigns special tasks to be completed in those areas. What You'll Do Supervise, support, and encourage cashiers throughout each shift Help ensure checkout lanes are appropriately staffed and operating efficiently Provide friendly, helpful service and assist customers with questions or concerns Train and coach cashiers on customer service, store procedures, and checkout operations Monitor cashier performance and provide constructive feedback and encouragement Respond to register issues, customer concerns, and other front-end situations as they arise Help keep the checkout area clean, organized, and welcoming Assist with front-end opening and closing procedures Participate in store Person-in-Charge responsibilities as needed Follow and reinforce company policies, cash-handling procedures, and operational standards Communicate clearly and effectively with store leadership and other departments Help foster a positive, respectful, supportive, and team-oriented work environment What We're Looking For Supervisory, computer, and customer service skills required Previous retail, grocery, cashier, or customer service experience preferred Friendly, approachable, and comfortable working with both customers and employees Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Reliable, organized, and able to stay focused in a fast-paced environment Comfortable handling cash and operating or learning point-of-sale systems Able to lead by example and contribute positively as part of a team Flexible and adaptable when staff schedules or front-end needs change, including availability for nights and weekends Why Join Us?
